Jason has worked in the field of Spiritual Development and Reiki for the past 15 years. The Spiritual path has always been apart of his life, growing up in an environment where his mother taught Yoga to pregnant women in the 1970s, Jason sat in the lotus position with relative ease. However being a natural sensitive has its draw backs especially when growing up and through school life. Experiences of being bullied and shyness were two obstacles to overcome. Rebellion was also part in parcel of his soul experience. This encompassed the experience of drugs and other addictive behaviors until a realization that something had to change. Even though the signs were posted along the way, the denial of the spiritual path continued until 1991 when he moved from the UK to Spain. It was during this time that he met his first Spiritual Teacher “Louise Margaret Barlow”. She gave him a re- introduction to meditation, and spiritual awareness. However the time was still not right as he was only finding his feet and direction. Although he “dabbled” with the Tarot and occasionally gave readings with reasonable accuracy, but still did not have the self belief or confidence within himself. It was then in 1999 that everything changed On a return journey from Barcelona to Malaga he experienced an “accident” on a train. This “accident” was actually his calling to the Spiritual Path that re-awakened his Soul Journey Unable to work physically, he began writing. A natural gift that he had awakened through his intuition and creativity. Additionally he continued to study all aspects of mind, body and spirit as well as meditating on the Tarot Cards. He began to give readings. As he was giving the readings he realized that he was actually counseling people but with no prior experience to counseling skills, yet he was able to empathize from experience. He soon became aware of his dreams. He decided to keep a dream diary at the side of his bed. It was within these dreams that he began to receive messages. Distinct messages that were to form an incredible circle of light. He went to visit a well known Medium who informed him that he was a Teacher. But no ordinary teacher. He was in fact a “Teacher of Teachers”. Shortly after this visit three young women approached Jason and informed him that they had been told that he was to teach them. The medium had stated, that when the time was right to teach, it would come knocking.. and it did! The dreams continued with confirmation of his path. Jason is now in the final stages of completing his book about his spiritual path experiences and how it was formed. Jason began teaching spiritual development. He was self taught and in many ways taught by spirit. Learning to trust his intuition and guidance. There was an exchange of energy here. There is an expression “When the student is ready the Master appears”. Each of the three women had taken a Reiki course. Maybritt Tellefessen taught levels 1 and 2. Jason engaged on a Reiki course, level one opening a doorway to healing the self. It was after this course and through giving readings that he felt he wanted greater knowledge in the area of Counseling. He studied counseling skills for 18 months as well as attending workshops in specific fields of “Loss and bereavement”, “Addictions and co-dependency”, “understanding relationships”, and “understanding depression”. Additional workshops include NLP (Neuro linguistic Planning) and Rebirthing. Level two fed his soul to access greater knowledge and thirst for the spiritual path. Realizing that this was sufficient for his needs to give a basic grounding for his spiritual work, but feeling that he wanted to help in an area that he felt an affinity with, he contacted “Chelo Mas Montario” from Concordia Aids Charity in San Pedro (and now Fuengirola). Jason introduced Reiki to the centre and began giving weekly Reiki Treatments at the daycare centre, in their homes and at the Hospital. It was then in 2003 that he suggested to raise Funds and awareness for the Charity by walking the Famous “Camino de Santiago”. 12000 euros in sponsorship was raised and a total of 800 km was walked from Saint Jean Pied de Port to Santiago Compostella. Jason still continues with his work at the Charity working alongside Psychologists who find that Reiki assists with enabling people to open up and express their feelings. Jason continued with his Reiki studies with Andrew Hunter until he became a Reiki Master & Teacher in 2003. The dreams told him to form a circle of light, many who were and are, still today Teachers. Jason is known as a catalyst in bringing greater awareness of new therapies and interesting people together to form a network of light. The Alternative World Healing Circle was formed in 2002. Uniting healers and complementary therapists in Southern Spain. A network was formed. There are now many who have since left the country but have kept the formation of the circle as a template for their own healing circles. Jason now encourages people who come to the circle to access their own power and self belief patterns so that they can eventually run their own circle of light or work as a Healer or use the knowledge within their own path. Additionally, Jason wrote for the Towncrier newspaper up until its closure in 2008. For 8 years he wrote his popular and sometimes controversial column titled “An Alternative World”. He now writes two columns for the Spanish Sun Newspaper, “Symbolic Whispers” writing about all aspects of psychic and spiritual development and the weekly “stars”. Jason now teaches his Spiritual Development Circle “Symbolic Whispers” on the Costa del Sol .
