Torrenueva is situated in Mijas Costa, the Heart of the Costa del Sol.
It is only a short distance from Fuengirola
and Marbella but closer to an old fishing village called La Cala de Mijas.
Along the golden beaches of La Cala to
Torrenueva you will find “Chiringuitos” (beach bars) that serve excellent
fresh fish as well as fresh local produce.
There are many water sport activities
including the hire of Jet skis, The Banana, snorkeling and diving, and
sailing. The hiring of these are located next to the apartments at Las
Golondrinas close to El Bombo Beach
There are also some great sporting locations
including a Tennis club and Gym at Club del Sol in Calahonda, Lawn Bowels at Miraflores Country Club, Horse racing at the Hippodromo, Horse riding lessons
in La Cala and some fabulous Golf Courses including La Cala Golf, El
Chapparell, La Noria and Calanova to name a few. All these are only 5 minutes
away from the apartments.
There are some lovely restaurants that cater
for all from the daily menu del dia to the plush and luxury at El Oceano Hotel and Restaurant or the Mijas Playa in La Cala. Another exceptional restaurant
is an Italian/International Cuisine, La Plaza located in Riviera del Sol. This
is an ideal place to round off your day.
